Just married !!!

As you can see, I'm making a few updates today... Why haven't I made them before ? Because this year I got married, and it was a lot of organisation... As you can expect.
It was wonderful. We made everything ourselves from the invitations to the meal.

Here is an exemple of what I've made for the table embellishment.
Those are tealights, telling our story from our encounter to our wedding. I've made the drawings and we cut them in sticker paper.

False ceramic, real polymer clay

Those earrings where done during last summer. I was in holydays in Brittany (France). I wanted to imitate the ceramic of this region (Finistère), using polymer clay.

Medalist !

This time I start something a bit quirky as the recipient of this jewel will be a bitch!

Its name is a pretty flower that comes in many colors: the ixia.

I made the basis with polymer clay (fimo), I put some petal from a cane to make a flower in relief. And then I painted the name of the bitch in acrylic. I used resin to turn the medal stronger and make it gloss.

Practice Note: The number of the owner is painted on the back, it's still a useful medal for dog! ^ ^

Electric arc

Here is a blue set, inspired by electric arcs.

I used the eye cane technic, except that I didn't put as pieces as usual to make a four leaf clover.

Proud to be a recidivist !

Someone gave me an order! The first! So of course I'm proud.

Someone liked my turtles shell collection. She wanted a pair of earrings in the style of those I had already done, and a turtle with plum and blue for a little girl secret box ...

So I relapsed, with the remnants of the old plate from the Bettina Welker technique (see post "collection shell"). And then I made ​​a new one with the desired color, except that! ... I mistook white and transparent. The result is a bit "fuzzy".
So I had to start over. This time I used real white and another technique that gives a more childish appearance I think. What do you think?

Finding time ...

It is not always easy to find enough time to rest and make polymer clay, or anything else. This week-end I had. It's been awhile! And suddenly I was able to tackle the tutorial ok Marie-France  alias Polymeramoi. And it takes time! Especially with a paste aging seriously and cracking each time I use the pasta machine.
