Finding time ...

It is not always easy to find enough time to rest and make polymer clay, or anything else. This week-end I had. It's been awhile! And suddenly I was able to tackle the tutorial ok Marie-France  alias Polymeramoi. And it takes time! Especially with a paste aging seriously and cracking each time I use the pasta machine. So I found a tip, I'll show you later. I didn't have the courage to get the camera in time.

Here are roughly the steps:

Shell collection

Forum polymair de rien (french forum) has a new concept for a few months : le "creuse ton neurone"! (we could translate by "bang your heads together"). We share our experiences on a particular topic. These last two months. This time we were working with extruder gun.
I used the tutorial "pixelated retro blend cane" of Bettina Welker. Here is the result: a pair of earrings hollow and turtles.

Bubbles

Two months later !!

Then, always with the same color palette, I made skimming stones ...

I have problems with the finishes ... My pendant plate broke when I transferred to the parchment paper before cooking. And varnish I use is pretty ugly. But it is new! I still have a whole pot. It's full of bubbles. I will change the brush and may be trying to dilute it.
Drilling my plate necklace has also given me a hard time. I should train more.

Béabullesque, first step

Here is an overview of what is happening in my home... It is rather nice from afar butclosely we see many irregularities. It was my first "béabullesque" and I was in a hurry. Plus I roll soft silicone that attracts dust and glue it in the clay... I hope that after sanding it will get better.

"Béabullesque", What a strange name could you say ! This is because I used the idea of Béabul. Except that I have done a single gradient, and I added streamers. Go take a look at the tutorial, if you're curious.

I had a mounting in mind before starting. But now that I see the plate, I think it exudes a sweetness that I'm afraid to break. I do not know yet how to cut. You will still have to wait a bit to see the final result.

Equipment side

Recently it was my birthday, and on this occasion ... I got sick.

So sick => mouse is stuck in it, but in poor condition and can do almost anything. Inspiration side is nothingness, precision side is not terrible either. After a few days driving around my hole, I eventually wanted to try to make my own cutter house. I had seen several tutorials on the net based on soda cans or aluminum trays.

So here's what I did :

And as it was my birthday anyway, I had some gifts.

My stepmother (Sicilian) offered me his pasta machine "Imperia". The crank is stuck because it's not the real one, but it runs. I feel that it will change my life!

And my mother offered me a Makin's extruder, which has a thread size. This is great. Before I had a syringe extruder, I tried once, got busted hand and I gave up.

So nice  !!
So awfull !!
